Believe Me, We Know What You Are Going Through

In March of 2007, my 30-year-old daughter, Jodi, died suddenly. She had had some health issues, but her death came as a total shock.
After more than a year in therapy, my therapist suggested a support group. I’m really not a support group/go to meetings kind of person, so I decided to start my own online support page.
I discovered several groups on Facebook, and many of these wonderful, supportive people joined my page, as well. There is no “one” place on the web that you can go to find support; there are many.
We have posted links here to the groups that we know and have experienced on Facebook and elsewhere. They are listed below under, “Blogroll” and at the bottom of the page under “Visit Our Friends.” If you have found other supportive groups that you have found helpful, pleave the link in the comments area and I will add it to the list. This page is all about pointing bereaved parents in the right direction; a direction of hope and companionship.
Please ignore the spam comments!

I’m new to the webpage/admin thing so I neglected to add a spam filter when this page was built. This explains the obnoxious spam in the column boxes. I have spent literally hours trying to get rid of this stuff and am slowly working my way through it.
Meanwhile, please ignore the annoying stuff in the comment columns and do feel free to leave your own. The more comments that are left, the farther down the line the spammer’s comments will go and the fewer will show up online. Meanwhile, I have installed a spam filter.
Thanks for your support in this matter!
